Hi, I am a 33 old developer and technology enthusiast that is passionate about learning and growing in the world of development. My name is Yuri and I am a self-taught "full stack" developer. I have a passion for learning and constantly strive to improve my skills in a variety of technologies and frameworks.

As a self-taught developer, I know firsthand the challenges and rewards of learning on your own. I have spent countless hours reading documentation, watching tutorials, and building projects to improve my skills. I love symplicity and efficiency, so I always try to find the best tools and practices to make my work easier and more enjoyable. I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow as a developer.

If you are looking for a developer to help you with your project, I would love to hear from you. I am not the best developer out there, but I am always willing to see what is possible and learn.

As for this website, I am not the best designer, but I am always looking to improve my skills. I built this website to showcase my work and share my knowledge with others. I am really more of a coding guy, so I focused on the functionality and performance of the site. I used the following technologies to build it:

  • Typescript: A powerful, statically typed language that I use for all of my projects
  • SvelteKit: A framework that I really enjoy working with
  • TailwindCSS: A utility-first CSS framework that I find very useful
  • Prisma: An ORM that I use to speed up my development process and make it easier to work with databases
  • PostgreSQL: A powerful, open-source object-relational database system
  • Hosting*: This whole stack is hosted on a cheap VPS and all services are running in Docker containers. I use Nginx as a reverse proxy and Let's Encrypt for SSL.
  • *I have used vercel in the past, but always scared of unforeseen costs like with suddenly high traffic. I prefer to have full control over my stack.

Feel free to leave a message in the guestbook. I'm always happy to connect with other developers and share knowledge. Thanks for visiting, and I hope you'll
